This extension greatly improves customer experience on your shop by enabling them to select multiple instances within a single attribute in your layered navigation (i.e. view products of “brand X” and “brand Y” simultaneously). Furthermore, it enables you to setup a detailed color filter using RGB codes enabling you to distinguish several shades of a color, which you would not be able to do by using words. The multiple select navigation extension also includes a free input price filter; no more irrelevant price ranges and no fiddling with a tiny and inaccurate price bar. And as icing on the cake: we also enable you to set a maximum number of initially shown options (per attribute) with “show more” / “show less” links. This prevents endless lists of options and enables you to show your most relevant instances in the layered navigation without denying your customers to also filter on the more exotic options! Proven in practice, these features directly impact customer experience and avg. time on site by decreasing required number of mouse clicks and increasing the accuracy of your overall navigation.
